"EMDR has been an incredibly useful tool in my treatment of an anxiety disorder and a history of trauma. I have lived with negative, unconscious thought patterns that are a result of sustained trauma. That trauma was never processed and the feelings and cognitions associated with the trauma became deeply embedded in my brain. EMDR helped get those feelings and thought processes un-stuck which allowed me to release those thought patterns that are no longer serving me. We have used EMDR to process both recent and childhood trauma. EMDR allowed me to heal from and release trauma and get to a point where the trauma is just a thing that happened to me and not one which is still controlling my life. In addition, EMDR has been crucial in helping me work through my anxiety disorder and the roots of various phobias. In EMDR, your brain is doing the work to heal. It is an incredibly effective treatment style!"

“Through EMDR, I have been able to face experiences that I used to fear. I have gained self-confidence and an ability to say “I now can handle this.” My PTSD and anxiety no longer dictate how I live my life. I have reached a level of serenity I never imagined over a year ago before I started this journey,”
